Carmichael Farm
Carmichael Farm is located on the East Coast of Scotland in the county of Perthshire, a beautiful part of the country with rolling hills and stunning scenery. The farm comprises of 400 acres on which wheat, barley, potatoes, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and blueberries are grown. Work includes harvesting, planting, tunnel construction, irrigation work and general husbandry work.The farm provides work and accommodation for over 120 seasonal workers, some from as far as Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Poland and Romania during the picking season. Dundee is 5 minutes away by car, a busy city with large shopping centres. St. Andrews, the home of Golf is half an hour away and is well worth a visit, with ancient buildings, good shops and the West sands beach stretching into the distance.
