Our Packhouses
Five of our growers have packhouses on their farms which are available to the group to use as efficiently as possible.
These packhouses have all been inspected and approved by both independent assessors and supermarkets’ own quality control teams.
We collect the fruit from the farms several times a day to cool and pack it in our packhouses ensuring it reaches our customers in the best possible condition.
We do all we can to minimise the amount of energy and packaging we use to protect the delicate berries. We are currently replacing our packaging machinery to reduce plastic use; this will allow us to fit over 12% more fruit on every lorry, reducing congestion, pollution and fuel consumption.
Some of our growers grow a range of pesticide residue free fruit called Good Natured Fruit.
